About Me

I am a Christian, wife, mom and employee (IN THAT ORDER). I struggle to live a balanced life in this unbalanced world. I have dreams I want to see become reality and some I know will never be real.

Some accomplished, Some in progress

I finished reading The Three Signs of a Miserable Job by Patrick Lencioni this week. That was the last of his books I had to read so I was able to check that off my goals.

I have been journaling every night! YAY. I have a cool 10 year journal (www.journal10.com) and with it there are only 4 lines to fill. I am keeping up well.

Also, In my book, Sommer has completed the potty training journey. She is in panties all day every day. She still sleeps in a diaper, but when awake, she has the potty figured out! YAY!

Small Steps

I have been working on a few of the goals!

I went out on New Years Evening with a friend for some shopping and a dinner out, so #93 is done for January. I had a blast, too. Kelli and I went to Kohls and Walmart for clothes and craft items. As Kelli said, we tend to be loud enough to border on obnoxious. But, as she also said, everyone needs a friend who will tell you that a shirt is cute but makes your boobs (or lack of boobs) look funny. VERY TRUE. Its speaking the truth in love, ya know!

I will be opening my Etsy shop soon. I have stuff to list, I just need a name. Throw me any great suggestions. I will sell stuff I have sewn and crocheted. It is my stress reliever. Ideas so far: Sommer Days and Starry Nights, Sassy Stitches (or something else with stitches since that can be crochet or sewing), also maybe something with Hodgepodge or some word like that since I will sell a little of this and a little of that.

My next Grad class on Interpersonal leadership starts the 10th, but I have used my break to work ahead and do some reading. The assignments for the 1st of the 7 weeks is available so I am getting a jump on all of it!
